One day in January, Nick invited us to come along with him while he fixed some computers for a restaurant in Mill Valley. Tyler was in Sacramento visiting her cousins, so I loaded up Fox and Evie for a delightful day of doing whatever the heck we wanted. I love Mill Valley. It is nestled, yes nestled, in redwood trees which makes it feel sort of like a fairy tale kingdom. We ate at a hamburger place where apparently Tyler Florence just loves the hamburgers, at least that's what he said on TV. Unfortunately, I really don't care for ground beef, so I can't tell you if I agree or disagree.
We played on this old train thing.
(please click on the link and scroll down to the wire whale sculpture. I love it.)
Fox watched this man wash the front of his wife's store. He loved it.
(Side note: The other day I was at the Oxbow drinking an americano while Fox at a cookie. I said,"I love you, Fox." He said with a big smile, "I love man." He was talking about the stranger sitting next to us with a pile of books talking on his IPhone about a bill he needed to pay. That kid :)
We played at this sweet park where it was so delightfully overcast that my heart was just filled with joy. Just look at my children needing to wear their sweaters. That is how January is suppose to be. This was Evie's first swing ride. She is sooo cute.
Nick says, " I'm coming for you next, Evie!"
Just kidding I love you a lot.
